7/29/09 - I'm a Big Boy

I went to the doctor today, and except for the shots, I had a fun time. I weigh 21 pounds and I'm 28.5 inches long. Momma and I went to visit some of her friends from Wells Fargo too. It was a long day, but I got to play with lots of people.

7/28/09 - I DID IT!!!!!!

Momma and I were talking to Daddy on the phone and I really wanted to give Daddy some kisses, so I tried to get the phone. I got up on my hands and knees and moved my right knee forward and then took my right hand off the ground and moved a little closer to Momma. I put my hand down and then rocked for a second before laying back on my belly. Momma and Daddy were so proud!!!


- Momma note: this isn't where he was, since I was on the floor with him, I didn't have the camera :(

Momma and I were talking to Daddy on the phone and I really wanted to give Daddy some kisses, so I tried to get the phone. I got up on my hands and knees and moved my right knee forward and then took my right hand off the ground and moved a little closer to Momma. In the apartment I always went for the tile. Now that we're home, I can't find any tile, but this linoleum looks neat...

7/26/09 - A New Way to Sit

I figured out how to sit up on my own without Momma putting me there. I put my knee under me and roll around so I'm on my tushie and then use my arm to sit up... It's FUN!!!


- Momma note: this isn't the picture of him sitting up on his own, because of course he only did it when I wasn't looking. Tried all day to get video, but no luck.

Even though Momma and I get to play and giggle all day, my favorite part of the day is talking to Daddy on the web cam. I'm still trying to figure out how to get in the computer screen with him, but for now I'll settle on just seeing him. I love you Daddy.

I got to roll all over our house, which is much bigger than the apartment in Gillette. But I would still rather be with Daddy. Gramma, Lukas and Auntie Erin helped me take my mind off it though. We got to play all day.

We had a very long day getting to the airport and then waiting on the plane an extra 40 minutes for it to take off. I miss Daddy already.

Momma keeps trying to feed me something she calls cereal, with this weird contraption called a spoon... I don't know why we can't keep things the way they were, I'd rather play than try to eat this stuff. And so I do, I drive Momma crazy by giggling, sticking my hand in my mouth, blowing cereal bubbles (that one really gets her, so I do it lots), and pretty much anything else I can think of except eating that cereal stuff. Who thought this one up anyway.

7/10/09 - More Time with Friends

All our friends came over again this morning to visit some more, and this time we got to have Daddy with us. I got to roll around with the boys after cuddling with the pretty ladies. Then everyone sang some songs, I really liked listening to all the voices, especially the deep bass from the guys.
